Victoria White MA Oxf, MChiro, LRCC

Welcome to Aspect Chiropractic Clinic, situated in East Street in the heart of Horsham. My name is Victoria White, I am a registered chiropractor and here is a little information about my training and experience so that you can get to know me...

Education and Experience

My first degree was at Oxford University, studying Biological Sciences, with a particular focus on the topics of disease and behaviour. After a few years working abroad I decided to train as a chiropractor and enrolled in a four-year Master of Chiropractic degree course at the Anglo-European College of Chiropractors (AECC) in Bournemouth. I graduated with Merit and was then accepted as an associate in a thriving chiropractic clinic in Eastbourne. I worked there for five years, consolidating my rigorous academic knowledge with aspects of applied chiropractic therapy before opening Aspect Chiropractic Clinic in Horsham, West Sussex. My patients benefit from a range of treatment methods including diversified chiropractic adjustment, Sacro-Occipital Technique (SOT), dry needling and the McKenzie Method.

Post-Graduate Experience

An important part of being a chiropractor is keeping abreast of new techniques and over the years, I have undertaken various courses as part of my continuing professional development. To learn more about the techniques I can use to help you, please click here

I am a licentiate member of the Royal College of Chiropractors (RCC) and a member of the British Chiropractic Association (BCA). I am also registered with the General Chiropractic Council which is the statutory body that regulates chiropractors in the UK, ensuring that we provide consistently high standards of patient care. I undertake 30 hours per year of continuing professional development (CPD) as part of this registration, which keeps me current and up to date.

Personal Aspirations

When I'm not working I love to dance and travel, also enjoying gardening and walking my dog. In clinic life I particularly enjoy treating people who are suffering from headaches. This is because for many years I was a frequent headache-sufferer myself! My chiropractor helped me a huge deal and now I very rarely have one. I also especially enjoy treating patients with back pain and sciatica. The pain of a back spasm or sciatic nerve irritation can be so severe that their lives are made miserable, so being able to help is a pleasure.

At Aspect Chiropractic Clinic I will provide you with the highest standards of gentle and effective chiropractic care. I will suggest a treatment plan that is specifically tailored for you and ensure you are given appropriate advice to help you achieve the best possible outcomes. If for some reason I cannot help with your particular problem then I will be happy to write a letter to assist you with onward referral.

I believe chiropractic care is one vital Aspect of a healthy life, in addition to maintaining good posture, an active lifestyle and a good work-life balance.

Call us now to reserve your chiropractic appointment at Aspect Chiropractic Clinic, Horsham. I look forward to meeting you!

Andrew Swan BTEC Dip. LSSM ISRM

Remedial and Sports Massage Therapist

Andy studied with the London School of Sports Massage (LSSM), completing his diploma in 2008 and undergoing further study in active isolated stretching - the Mattes method - under Aaron Mattes. In 2010 he began studying NO HANDS® massage, achieving master therapist level and also becoming a NOHANDS® massage trainer under founder Gerry Pyves. He is continually learning and adding to his skills in order to deliver the best possible treatments to his clients.

Andy grew up in South Africa where playing sport was an everyday activity, both in and out of school. It was here that he first discovered how powerful massage can be as both a therapy and a recovery aid for injuries. Since then he has found massage an incredible tool to help his clients improve their general wellbeing and to help them cope with the physical and mental stresses of everyday life.

An accomplished sportsman, Andy has enjoyed boxing, Thai boxing and wrestling from which he has had his fair share of injuries! This has helped give him great insight into healing processes and allowed him to help hundreds of clients over the years, getting his clients on the road to recovery in resolving a wide variety of injuries. Andy is a fitness enthusiast and has taken part in many weightlifting and crossfit competitions. He continues to treat high-level sports-people and will use his knowledge and experience to help advise you if required.

Andy specialises in NOHANDS® massage, a revolutionary zero-strain approach to massage therapy. This type of massage can be used as a deep-tissue sports treatment which releases muscle spasm and helps with injury healing and improving function. It can also be applied as a more gentle, nurturing relaxation massage, giving his clients the benefits of stress relief (and some TLC!).

Andy will provide you with the highest standard of massage therapy and a specialised treatment plan specific to your needs. Massage therapy is a vital aspect of health and wellness - not just for injuries, aches and pains but also for good mental health and relaxation. Most people lead incredibly busy lives and taking time out for self-care is often neglected. Here, massage can play a major role in allowing you to give yourself space to breathe and recover.
